Even A Blind Squirel...

Well here it is Saturday, June 04 and Larry and I finally went fishing for a few hours Thursday evening. We ended up on Saddle Lake and found a bass tournament under way, but we figured “Why not?” and went anyway. The fishing was slow, but we did manage to avoid getting “skunked”. We boated (and released) the bass below and Larry had one of about the same size throw the bait. Even a blind squirrel will occasionally find a nut. As always, the company was excellent. Hopefully spring projects will be done soon, and we’ll find the time and energy to get out on the water more often.

Dad,
I'm glad you and Larry were able to take time off from the summer's "Projects" and enjoy the beautiful weekend! While you were hunting nuts in Scott Lake, I was walking, walking and walking some more for the 2 day Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Chicago.(39.3 mi) It was a great success. ($5.4 million was raised by 2400 walkers) It was hot and sunny (95+) and cold and stormy. Gotta love the midwest. Thank you for your donation and support. It was really a weekend of stories shared and meeting new friends. See you this weekend for the Relay for Life in South Haven.
Love you.
